LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WACH) - A man accused of breaking into unlocked vehicles at an apartment complex near Columbia has been arrested.

Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts says Keenan Erskine Sullivan, 22, of Columbia was arrested Monday on three counts of breaking into a motor vehicle.

Metts says arrest warrants allege Sullivan unlawfully entered three unlocked vehicles at an apartment complex on Berryhill Road.

A resident of the complex contacted authorities around 4:20 a.m. Monday after witnessing someone rummaging through vehicles, according to Metts.
