DARLINGTON, S.C. (AP) -- A judge in Darlington has found a man guilty of killing is cousin.

WPDE-TV reported that Douglas Gregg of Darlington was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison.

Gregg was arrested in June of last year in the stabbing death of 62-year-old Levi Gregg in the Dovesville community.

Gregg is also charged in the death of 81-year-old Moses Smith in 2003. Sheriff's deputies say Gregg broke into Smith's home and assaulted him, then returned a few weeks later when he knew the man, who was on a fixed-income, would have more money, robbed him, and stabbed him to death.

Gregg has not yet been tried in that case.
