MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- A suspect in a South Carolina murder from more than a decade ago is under arrest in Arkansas.

The Sun News of Myrtle Beach (http://bit.ly/Vf1LFL) reported that Jose Tostado of Bald Knob, Ark., is charged with murder and assault and battery with intent to kill.

The 36-year-old was arrested Thursday and is being held pending extradition to Horry County.

The charges stem from an early morning shooting on Sept. 16, 2000 at a Horry County nightclub during which a Tabor City, N.C., man named Alfonso Fuentes was fatally wounded. Police soon identified Tostado and another suspect in the murder and warrants were issued, but both fled and could not be located.

Tostado was taken into custody this week when police in Arkansas responded to a domestic violence call involving him.
