LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say a man was shot and killed in Lancaster because he and his killer were dating the same woman.

Lancaster County deputies say 30-year-old Jeffery Roseborough shot 23-year-old Gaeric Johnson once in the chest Monday. Friends took him to the hospital, and he died a short time later at the hospital.

Neighbors told deputies they heard gunshots, then saw two cars drive away.

Deputies said Roseborough turned himself in at the sheriff's office Tuesday and is charged with murder. He is awaiting a bond hearing, and it wasn't known if he had a lawyer.
