Ricky Lance Deel, 34, is charged with felony DUI in connection with a car accident on I-77 in Fairfield County.

Fairfield County, SC- A 16-year-old male is dead after an accused drunk driver hit his car near the White Oak community of Fairfield County.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Ricky Lance Deel, 34, was driving his 2000 Saturn in the south bound lane of I-77 when he struck a Dodge Durango with 7 people traveling south on I-77. One of the occupants was killed. The other 6 were transported to a Columbia hospital.
Deel has been charged with Felony DUI. The Highway Patrol MAIT team is investigating this accident.
