COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Columbia police have arrested a teenager in connection to a murder along North Main Street last month.

17-year-old Austin Murray is charged with murder and carjacking.

Police say they arrested him Thursday evening.

According to investigators, Murray was involved in a September 16 shooting in the 3800 block of North Main Street.

The coroner has identified the victim as 48-year-old Michael Davis.

Investigators continue to search for a WHITE, 1996, 4-door Mazda Protégé that was seen on surveillance video at the time of the shooting.

Police think the car didn’t have a tag at the time, and that the victim was in possession of it.

If you’ve seen the car or have any information on the case, call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
