MANNING,SC (WACH)-A rural hospital in Clarendon County is offering free health care to the needy starting Friday.

SC Mission 2012 Coastal Plain in Manning, SC is this Friday and Saturday, October 19-20 and is sponsored by the Coastal Plain Rural Health Network. Hundreds of uninsured and underinsured adults are expected to come for free medical examinations, pharmacy assistance and eye screenings.
Over 200 volunteers have signed up to assist, along with support from the Manning Lions Club, the Benefit Bank of South Carolina and DHEC.

The two-day event will take place at The Cypress Center located at 50 E. Hospital Street in Manning, on the campus of Clarendon Memorial Hospital with both days starting at 7:00am. Friday's day of service ends at 7:00pm and Saturday's at 3:00pm.
