CHAPIN, S.C. (AP) -- A couple slain in their home on the Caribbean island of St. Maarten are being remembered in South Carolina.

Funeral services for Michael and Thelma King are scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday at Chapin United Methodist Church in Chapin.

The Kings had homes in Mount Pleasant and St. Maarten, and friends have said Michael King was planning on starting a rum business on the tiny Dutch territory. Their bodies were found stabbed to death last month inside their beachfront condominium.

St. Maarten police have arrested two suspects in the deaths. Last month, police arrested Jamaican security guard Meyshane Johnson, and his lawyer says he denies killing the couple. This week, prosecutors said a second suspect, a 17-year-old man, had been captured after an intensive search.
