COLUMBIA (WACH / AP) – Members of USC’s Arnold School of Public Health are hosting a discussion of childhood obesity in the schools research center auditorium, as September marks the month long obesity awareness efforts.
Thursday’s discussion, led by Sara Wilcox, will be preceded by a viewing of the HBO documentary “Weight of the Nation.”
Wilcox, who is with the Prevention Research Center, is a professor of exercise science and working with local health, medical and community leaders for ways to combat the impact of obesity in their respective communities.
