COLUMBIA (WACH) -- It’s been nearly two weeks and there’s still no sign of Gabbiee Swainson, but the community is not giving up hope.

Dozens of people including the missing teen’s mother, gathered at Right Direction Church Wednesday evening for a prayer vigil.

The church was full of family members, friends and community members praying for the teen’s safe return.

Gabbiee’s mother, Elvia Swainson, did not speak with the media at Wednesday’s vigil, but prayed and sang throughout the service.

Right Direction Church is holding another vigil for Gabbiee Thursday evening at 7:00.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is also scheduled to hold a news conference tomorrow at 10 am to discuss the very latest on the investigation into Gabbiee’s disappearance.
