COLUMBIA (WACH) – For the second year in a row, The Nurturing Center is partnering with the George Rogers Foundation for the “Kick Off for Kids” fund raiser on Saturday in the Zone at Williams Brice.

According to Director of Development Neil Nadkarni, the event is for the entire family, offering a children’s fan area, with activities including Wii games, cornhole, face painting and more.

In addition, a silent auction will include electronics, sporting goods, a golf package, and sports memorabilia.  The local band Whiskey Tango Revue will be playing live, and the event will offer food and beverages.

Tickets for the Kick Off for Kids are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, and children 12 and under are welcome free of charge, with the proceeds going to the Nurturing Center and the George Rogers Foundation.
