Dogs implemented in search for missing man on Lake Keowee

SENECA, SC (WACH / AP) -- The search continues for a man who has been missing for two day and presumed drowned on Lake Keowee in the North Country.

Oconee County Emergency Services, the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, and the State Departemtn of Natural Resources planned to start their search Monday morning using dogs.

The missing 22-year-old, Brian Lewis Smith, is from Anderson, Indiana. Officials say he was last seen early Saturday morning, and a paddleboat he had been using was found several hours later.

Oconee County Emergency Management Director Scott Krein says divers, boats and a helicopter were used in the search for Smith over the weekend.
