 A minor gas leak has glosed a section of Pickens Street in Columbia.

COLUMBIA (WACH) - A minor gas leak closed a section of Pickens Street in Columbia Friday

The Columbia-Richland Fire Department and Columbia Police Department responded to a gas leak between Lady and Washington Streets around 10:30 a.m. Friday near 1400 Pickens Street.

SCE&G crews worked to fix the leak, which was capped by 12 p.m.

The road reopened around 12:15 p.m.
