COLUMBIA (WACH) - Columbia Fire investigators are looking at  fire damage to the department of Probation, Pardon and Parole Services on Gregg Street in downtown Columbia. No one was injured in the fire.

The call went out about 6:15 am Wednesday morning.  An agent on duty with the agency arrived for work Wednesday and found a broken window.  The agent called the fire department.

Division Chief Will Harrell said the some of the office chairs were damaged.  Harrell estimates the damage at $500.

The Columbia Fire Department along with SLED is investigating the incident.  No supects have been named so far.

Anyone with information that could solve this crime, police urge them to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-Crime-SC.
