COLUMBIA, SC (WACH)— Columbia Police Department officers responded to a shooting early Sunday morning that left one man with a gunshot wound to the leg.
According to witnesses there was a fight between two groups of people at a Sumter Street Hookah lounge before the shooting.
Police said an unknown male broke a bottle over the victims head and then both parties were kicked out of the lounge.
Then witnesses said that same unknown male fired shots at the group of people the victim was with.
According to doctors the victims injury was not life threatening and he has been released from the hospital.
