IRMO, SC (WACH/AP) - Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff's Department are investigating a shooting that left two people dead.

Authorities say two guns were used in the shooting.  That's the latest information from Richland County Coroner Gary Watts.

Watts identified the man and woman found shot to death in an upscale Ascot Estates neighborhood near Irmo.

Coroner Gary Watts said Saturday that one of the people lived at the home in the Ascot subdivision.

He says 44-year-old Tammy Parker was found in the upstairs office of her home. Also killed was 46-year-old Bryan Capnerhurst of Batesburg-Leesville, who was found in an upstairs storage space near the office.

Watts says both died from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and were pronounced dead at the scene.

They were found dead about 1 pm. Friday. Deputies say Parker's husband also was in the home.

Watts said Parker's husband invited Capnerhurst over to conduct some business for the family. The couple's two children were at school when the shootings happened.

Friends say the couple is in medical sales and have two children, a teenager and a kindergarten-age child. According to friends, the wife was also a singer in a local band.

Investigators say the victim's husband called just before one o'clock Friday afternoon to alert them about what happened.  He was being questioned Friday.

Deputies are still trying to figure out who was shot first and determine exactly what caused the shootings.

Neighbors and friends rushed to the scene on Tackeria Court all afternoon looking for answers in the case, but investigators have released very few details.

It's possible more details will be released in the case over the weekend, and no charges have been filed yet in this case.
