Suspect steals cash, bank card, cell phone in armed robbery

COLUMBIA (WACH) - Deputies are searching for a suspect wanted for strong armed robbery that occurred off of Two Notch Road last Thursday.

The suspect approached a male victim in the parking lot of Video X-Press on Two Notch Road pointing a handgun, according to Sheriff Leon Lott with the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

The victim told deputies that the suspect stole cash, a bank card, and an android cell phone.

Lott says that the suspect was seen attempting to use the bank card twenty minutes after the robbery at El-Cheapo on Two Notch Road.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video wearing all black. A second man in the video wearing a white t-shirt and ball cap is also wanted for questioning.
