Here is your Good Day Columbia GDC Morning WACH for 3-12-2012:
Happy birthday to the Girl Scouts!!! The Girl Scout organization was founded in 1912 in Savannah, with just 18 girls. Over the last 100 years, that 18 original has become over 3 million strong. For information on the Girl Scouting program, click HERE. We were also joined by Michelle Martin, a volunteer and 2 scouts. You can see their time on the show HERE.
As we always do on Monday’s we were getting fit and staying fit with Christy Sequin. This week, we learned the perfect pushup, and why it is one of the single best exercises you can do. Check it out HERE.
Plus, we can’t forget about good manners, Gerald Glascock joined us with some very good information about employment. We have talked about the body language you want to try to have when you go to an interview, but is that rehearsed non-verbal communication what the boss is looking for? Gerald says maybe not. You can check out Gerald’s tips HERE.
As always, GDC is looking for your input! Please send story ideas, if you are in looking for exposure for a community event you are involved with, or would like a cast member to speak at your civic group, school, or activity, EMAIL us! We are part of the community!!
