LEXINGTON, S.C. (WACH) - Lexington County Sheriff’s Department detectives have arrested two teenagers in connection with a burglary that occurred last November.

Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts said detectives arrested Theodore Wayne Masters, 17, of Gilbert, and Cory Blake Rosson, 19, of Leesville. Masters and Rosson each were arrested on an arrest warrant on a charge of first-degree burglary in connection with the break-in at the Owens Road home.

Arrest warrants allege that between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Nov. 4, 2011 Masters and Rosson illegally entered a home on Owens Road and stole one .22-caliber Ruger revolver, one 20-gauge Remington shotgun, two sets of state quarters and Confederate money worth about $300, Metts said

Masters and Rosson each were being held Monday at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.

Under South Carolina law, a circuit judge would have to conduct a bond hearing for Masters and Rosson in general sessions court because first-degree burglary is a felony that carries a maximum punishment of life in prison, Metts said.

The 11th Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office has not yet scheduled bond hearings for Masters and Rosson.
