Truck involved in Pelion hit-and-run found in Orangeburg

ORANGEBURG, SC (WACH) - The Highway Patrol found the truck they believe was used in a fatal hit-in-run in Pelion Wednesday evening.

Trooper Brent Kelly says the GMC Sierra pickup was found in Orangeburg Friday.

The hit-and-run happened around 6:40 p.m. Wednesday on SC-302.

Irma, L. Hudson was hit by the truck and died at the scene.

Investigators are still searching for suspect Romeo Romero, Jr.
