COLUMBIA (WACH)--Harvest Hope Food Bank is gearing up for it's annual Empty Bowls event to help feed hungry families.

With the help and inspiration of regional and local artists, last year Harvest Hope Food Bank raised over $75,000 through the annual Empty Bowls fundraising auction, allowing the non-profit to provide more than 450,000 pounds of food to hungry families and individuals.

Empty Bowls will be held this year on Friday, February 10, 2012 at The Marriott at the corner of Main and Hampton Streets in Columbia. There will be a silent auction featuring local original artwork and other great auction items followed by a dinner featuring the live auction.

Tickets are $60 per person and $90 per couple. To reserve your seat at this year's auction  call 803.254.4432 extension 1143.
