COLUMBIA (WACH)—Gas prices continue to decline, falling another $.02 cents per gallon in the last 7 days, following the $.042 cent drop a week ago.

According to ColumbiaGasPrices.com, the average price for a gallon of gas in the Midlands is $3.01.  The national average increased $.08 cents per gallon, creating an even larger margin between the national figure and those in Columbia.

Even with the decline for 2 consecutive weeks, gas is still over $.15 higher than it was this time last year.
