CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina's freshman U.S. Rep. Tim Scott has set another town hall meeting with a Republican presidential candidate.

Scott plans to host Georgia businessman Herman Cain on Sept. 17 at Daniel Island. It's the fourth candidate Scott has hosted in his series of presidential town hall meetings. Texas Gov. Rick Perry appeared most recently at a session last Monday in Conway.

During the sessions, Scott asks the candidates questions submitted by the audience and through social media.

South Carolina's GOP presidential primary is the first in the South.
