OMAHA, NE. (WACH) - Gamecocks Coach Ray Tanner says freshman pitcher Forrest Koumas will likely start in game 1 of the College World Series finals against Florida Monday.

No starter has been determined for game 2 in the best-of-three series.  Koumas carries a 6-1 record into the championship series, and faced Florida once before during the regular season.

The Gamecocks reached the CWS finals after defeating Virginia 3-2 in 13 innings late Friday.
