COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Columbia police say they made four arrests in drug busts in Columbia Wednesday.
Police Chief Randy Scott says Trevor Babcock and James Byrnes were arrested for manufacturing marijuana and Erik Stainer for possession of marijuana at the Columbiana Lakes Apartments.
Marijuana plants were seized from the apartment on Crossbow Drive.
Another suspect was taken into custody after trying to get away from officers as they were attempting another drug bust at the Brook Pines Apartments on Brook Pines Drive.
Kevin Nails was arrested for intent to deliver. Nails had more than three pounds of pot on him at the time.
