7 arrested in Lancaster County video poker sting

LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina state police have charged seven people arrested in a video poker sting in Lancaster County.

The State Law Enforcement Division said Tuesday that Rickey Grant Baker Jr., Donnie Ray Beckham, John Daniel Chappell, Christopher Todd Ghent, Roy Lee Haile, Walter Dale McManus and Barbara Ann Webber were all charged with possession of a gambling device.

Baker, Chappell, Ghent, Haile and McManus also are charged with keeping a gaming house.

SLED says agents found and confiscated illegal gaming equipment at three addresses.

It was not clear if those arrested had attorneys. The Herald of Rock Hill reported they were being held Tuesday in the Lancaster County jail.
