COLUMBIA (WACH) -- It's that season where some people in South Carolina can't stop sneezing.
Doctors at the USC School of Medicine say tree season started in late February and goes until May. They expect the season to peak in about two weeks.
People will see more sneezing, runny noses and congestion. One doctor has some advice for those who suffer from allergies.
"You can keep the windows closed in your house and care, use the air conditioner instead. If you're outside working in the yard, change your clothes and take a shower before you go to bed. For over the counter meds you can use Claritin," Dr. David Amrol explains.
Dr. Amrol says if you're having severe symptoms that have an impact on your breathing or sleep, it's time to visit your doctor.
