HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (AP) -- Viewers watching next month's Heritage golf tournament will see ads promoting the beauty and attractions of Hilton Head Island.

The Island Packet of Hilton Head reports the town and Beaufort County will split 32 ads, each 30 seconds, on the Golf Channel.

Those adds will run April 21 and 22 during the Heritage as well as on other PGA events on the channel during the year.

Both the town and the county committed $1 million each to this year's tournament that has no title sponsor.

The Heritage Classic Foundation also has 32 spots on CBS it hopes to sell to recover some of the $4 million it committed to the tournament this year to keep a spot on the PGA schedule.
