The South Carolina Broadcasters Association has inducted Barrington Broadcasting CEO Jim Yager into the 2011 SCBA Hall of Fame.   / Sara Jane Harris

COLUMBIA (WACH) – The South Carolina Broadcasters Association has inducted Barrington Broadcasting CEO Jim Yager into the SCBA Hall of Fame.

Barrington Broadcasting is the parent company of WACH Fox.

During the annual SCBA Winter Convention on Friday night, Yager was recognized as a visionary broadcaster and a powerful industry leader for his support of the broadcasting industry.

Yager was selected by the SCBA Board of Governors, which is comprised of Hall of Fame inductees and SCBA Board members.

According to the SCBA, the award is the Association’s most prestigious award and was created to recognize individuals who have made large contributions to the growth and development of the broadcast industry in South Carolina.
