COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Three suspects have been arrested in connection to a Wednesday morning armed robbery in West Columbia.
Police say they've arrested 28-year-old Carrie Callahan, 21-year-old Ricky Bell, both of Columbia, and 23-year-old Quincy Holley of Gaston.
According to West Columbia Police, the suspects approached a victim as he left his car and followed him into his home where they waved guns and demanded money and jewelry. Officials also say the suspects hit the victim in the head with a gun and held a gun to the victim's young child.
Officials were responding to the burglary call when they noticed a suspicious vehicle, which turned out to be occupied by the three suspects.
Police are investigating a possible connection between this and other robberies around the Midlands, including a series of hotel robberies we recently reported.
