COLUMBIA -- A grocery store chain is recalling select containers of store brand ice cream.

Kroger has issued the recall on 48 ounce packages of Kroger Deluxe Chocolate Paradise Ice Cream.

The containers are sold in 17 states including South Carolina and have the UPC code 11110 50712.

The store states the reason is due to the ingredient tree nut not being listed on the label.

Customers who have purchased the ice cream can return it to the store for a full refund or replacement.
