COLUMBIA -- Alan Wilson continues to fight for the GOP nomination for South Carolina's attorney general, he won't be doing it with the support of Senator Jake Knotts.

The Republican candidate has removed the embattled senator from his endorsement list because of the racial slur Knotts made on the political web show Pub Politics last week.

Knotts called Representative Nikki Haley and President Obama "ragheads."

"Those statements just don't reflect the values of that I was raised with, the values of my campaign and the values of what this is all about," Wilson says.  "I condemn those comments."

Wilson and Leighton Lord will go head-to-head for the GOP nomination for attorney general on June 22.
