Post season play begins June 4

COLUMBIA (WACH) --  South Carolina and Costal Carolina both host NCAA Division I regional games. The College of Charleston, The Citadel and Clemson also made the tournament.

South Carolina will face Bucknell in the first round of the NCAA Division I baseball tournament. The Gamecocks are also serving as one of 16 host venues. The Citadel and Virginia Tech will face off in the other half of the bracket.

It's the first time a regional will be played at the two-year-old Carolina Stadium.  This is the 12th time in school history that the Gamecocks will host a regional.

This is USC's 26th appearance in the NCAA Division I tournament ,and their 11th straight.  The Gamecocks have appeared in the College World Series eight times.

Coastal Carolina, the Big South Conference champion, is the 4th overall seed and also hosting a regional, which will be played at BB&T Coastal Field in Myrtle Beach. The Chanticleers will play Stony Brook.  The College of Charleston and N.C. State will also play in Myrtle Beach. As a national seed Coastal Carolina would host a Super Regional if it can advance through the regional.

Clemson makes their 35th NCAA tournament appearance (the 6th most all-time) and will play Southern Mississippi in the Auburn regional. Auburn plays Jacksonville State in the other half of that bracket.
