CAYCE -- Police have made an arrest in a fatal hit and run accident that occurred in Cayce back in February.

The Cayce Department of Public Safety brought William Craig Caughman into custody in connection to the crash that killed USC photography professor Frederic Toby Morriss.

Caughman will have a bond hearing Tuesday at 3:00pm.

Police found Caughman's 2000 Ford Ranger hidden behind a building on his father's property with the doors removed.

Officials say a tip through CrimeStoppers helped lead them to the arrest.

Caughman has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death and obstruction of justice.

Toby Morriss was hit on his motorcycle on February 21 at the intersection of Knox Abbott Drive and 9th Street.

He died a few days later.

The investigation continues and police say there may be additional arrests.
