LEXINGTON -- A South Carolina Gubernatorial candidate is taking his plan for job growth on the road.
Wednesday, U.S. Representative Gresham Barrett made a stop at Lexington's Bently Pontoons on his statewide bus tour.
Barrett says he's meeting with business leaders to discuss ways to put South Carolinians back to work.
"What we're going to do to take this nation back, to take this economy back, you don't do it by growing government. You do it by empowering people," Barrett says.
He faces three other candidates in the race for the GOP nomination in the June 8 primary, Andre Bauer, Nikki Haley and Henry McMaster.
