LEXINGTON(WACH)--A former patrol deputy has been arrested and charged for possessing child pornography.
According to Lexington County deputies, 25 year old Craig Edward Wlaschin was arrested Monday on a charge of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
An arrest warrant alleges that in 2009 and 2010 Wlaschin knowingly accessed the Internet and downloaded on his personal computer at his home images of children who were engaged in sexual activity.
Wlaschin is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
