NEW ELLENTON, S.C. -- A 20-year-old man is dead after he was stabbed multiple times.
Investigators say Dancer Wayne Richter was at a home on Partridge Bend Road in New Ellenton, which is in Aiken County. Deputies say Allen Tufano, a friend, was responsible for the stabbing.
Witnesses say the two were together all day, but they had been scuffling and drinking as well. Investigators say things turned deadly at 9 P.M. Sunday when Tufano allegedly stabbed Dancer Richter.
Officials say this is the 14th homicide in the county in 2009.
The investigation is being carried out by the Aiken County Coroner's Office and the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
