When it comes to sex the University of South Carolina is on top.
That's according to a national survey released Tuesday by condom maker Trojan.
The survey ranks USC first out of 141-colleges and universities...when it comes to sexual health.
That's encouraging news for a state with the 8th highest aids ranking in the US.
Sex is all the rage at the university of South Carolina sexual health, that is.
"Everyone I know wear's condoms of some sort, and a lot of the females I know are at least on birth control,” says Scott Blanchette.
"A lot of my friends, you know, they'll ask for condoms, or they'll talk about things like oh we didn't do that because we didn't have any sort of protection," says Kanesha Ivory.
USC moving to the head of the class Tuesday in Trojan condom's yearly sexual-health report the survey ranks over 140-colleges and universities on student health services.
"Last year we ranked number eight, the year before that we were number six, so we've ranked in the top ten for several years and we are proud of that," says Deborah Beck.
USC Student Health Services Director Deborah Beck says...researchers take the survey seriously...analyzing campus health data and student opinion polls in 13-seperate categories.
"It looks at the quality of our health services, our availability of our services, the time, and all of our outreach programs and of course the availability of sexual information," says Beck.
USC health officials say the while survey shows they are doing a good job of promoting sexual health...they are not promoting sex they're teaching students so they can make educated decisions.
"It makes me feel good that if I'm ever to have a partner, that I'm pretty confident that they've been practicing safe sex," says Blanchette.
And students and health officials agree, there's no better place to be-- than on top....of their sexual health.
