In Lexington County, a single car crash leaves one man dead.

The accident happened shortly after midnight Saturday morning.

Investigators say 52-year-old Randall Buzhardt was driving on Bagpipe Road in Batesburg when he lost control of his car.

Officials say he struck a dirt bank and flipped the vehicle.

Buzhardt was not wearing a seatbelt, and coroner Harry Harman says he died at the scene from his injuries.

A toxicology report is pending.
