A man is dead and a woman is in critical condition after a shooting on Dubose Siding Road Monday night, according to Sumter County Deputies.

The female victim was shot in the head and was airlifted to the Palmetto Health Richland Hospital.

Sherrif Anthony Dennis says the shooting was drug-related.

Dennis says a suspect is in custody but the name has not been released at this time.
