GREER, S.C. (AP) -- Thirty wounded military veterans are being treated to some high-test driving at the BMW Performance Center near Greer.

The veterans are coming from around the country and will get a chance to drive some of the automaker's top-of-the line 2008 models Monday.

Their trip is being sponsored by the Injured Semper Fi Fund, a private group that has raised 20 million dollars to support wounded Marines and other military veterans and their families.

BMW officials say they have outfitted five vehicles with special hand controls if the vets have lost the use of their legs. They will learn safety tips and how to handle dangerous road conditions.
