Friday, September 30, 2011  Two men were arrested following the fatal shooting of three farm animals in Woodruff Thursday, according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.  Deputies said a llama and donkey were shot to death in a pasture near Racetrack Road and Brown Kennedy Road at the Lazy K Farms, and another donkey was shot several times but survived.

Thursday, May 26, 2011  Self-proclaimed 'presidential candidate' Robert Haines, 64, was released from jail Thursday morning a day after he was arrested several blocks from the State House while wearing a purple bathrobe-style dress and cowboy hat. Haines told a bond court judge he has campaigned for 47-consecutive days and is staying with members of a fraternity at USC. The local alumni president says that claim is untrue.
