Coroner says no trauma, foul play in Columbia infant's death

The Richland County Coroner says there were no signs of trauma or foul play in the death of an infant rushed to a Columbia hospital Thursday afternoon. Coroner Gary Watts says 15-month-old Versha McCants was found unresponsive in a crib Thursday at the Nay's Child Development Center on Monticello Road. Columbia police and the coroner's office are still investigating.
