2 arrested in fatal shooting of llama, donkey

Two men were arrested following the fatal shooting of three farm animals in Woodruff Thursday, according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office. Deputies said a llama and donkey were shot to death in a pasture near Racetrack Road and Brown Kennedy Road at the Lazy K Farms, and another donkey was shot several times but survived.

Self-proclaimed 'presidential candidate' Robert Haines, 64, was released from jail Thursday morning a day after he was arrested several blocks from the State House while wearing a purple bathrobe-style dress and cowboy hat. Haines told a bond court judge he has campaigned for 47-consecutive days and is staying with members of a fraternity at USC. The local alumni president says that claim is untrue.

Truck, ATM found in Lexington theft using forklift

Lexington Police are looking for the suspects they say used a forklift from a nearby church to steal an ATM. Meanwhile, Georgetown County investigators say they've seen a similar theft recently and are comparing notes to see if the crimes are connected.
