Dozens of people are in jail after a Sumter County drug bust.

On Friday, local, county, and state law enforcement departments went to Lynchburg and seized about $1500 in cash and three weapons.

They also arrested several people as well.

Officials tell us this was the end of a 12-month investigation on illegal drug sales in eastern Sumter County.
