Brian Johnson is a black male, 170 lbs.  He is wanted for kidnapping his wife early Thursday morning.

Police are asking for assistance in locating Brian Johnson of Columbia who kidnapped his estranged wife around 8:00 AM Thursday morning.

The victim and Johnson are going through a divorce and Thursday morning they were in the car together dropping their kids off at School when a verbal altercation occurred.

The verbal altercation became intense when Johnson punched the victim. The victim tried to get out of the car and Johnson pulled the victim's hair and shirt and forced her to stay in the car.

Johnson drove off from the school. Johnson parked the car on Kelly Mill Road and ran away after a concerned citizen approached the car and asked if everything was alright.
