Deputies need your help finding the person who shot and killed a 23-year-old Columbia woman Friday night.
They're releasing surveillance video of Natasha Warren just before she was murdered, hoping you might see something helpful.
Investigators say Natasha Warren got a flat tire on her way to work Friday night. She pulled over near exit 108 on I-26 and walked to the Sunoco convenience store on Bush River Road.
Richland County Lt. Chris Cowan says Warren went in the store four times asking for change and possibly to call for help. Investigators know she called work telling them she would be late.
She also called her family around 10:30 p.m. What happened after Warren left the store remains a mystery.
"We're searching for answers. Somebody knows what happened," says Cowan. He adds, that person could help deputies figure out who did this and why. Investigators do know some things were stolen from Warren's car. They believe the community holds the key link.
"Somebody may have seen the killer with her. It maybe one thing that you saw and maybe you think it's not a big deal, but it may be the one piece of the puzzle we need. There needs to be some closure for her and her family, answers for her and her family. That's what we're working to find out," says Cowan.
If you were in that Sunoco gas station last Friday night, look at the surveillance video to see if you recognize anything.
