COLUMBIA, SC -- If you want to know where your money is going and how the state is spending it, there's new report outlining it all, and you don't have to be an accountant to understand it!
Comptroller General Richard Eckstrom released the financial state summary and he says it's easy to read.
The purpose of the new report is to allow any and every citizen to know how the state government is spending money without having to read excessively into hundreds of pages of budgetary information. This is a new initiative, one of only three states to try this new report.
