NASHVILLE, T.N. (WACH) – Country music singer/songwriter David Kroll is doing something special with his new single “Little Soldiers.”  In honor of Veteran’s Day, he is donating the proceeds from downloads through November 18 to the Code of Support Foundation, which works to bridge the gap between civilians and the military.  

“The song was inspired by a friend who had just married and month later her husband was deployed,” Kroll said.  He also pointed out that the soldier was trained in Columbia at Fort Jackson.  Kroll said that although his friend didn’t enlist, she is still “serving.”

Kroll appeared on Good Day Columbia on Wednesday to play the song and talk about the cause.
