A spokesman for a church group on board a miniature train that derailed in Spartanburg earlier this year said Monday that no charges will be filed in connection with the crash. Authorities later confirmed that no charges will be filed Tuesday morning.

The red and gray train known as "Sparkles" was back on the tracks at Cleveland Park Thursday as part of testing to try to find out what caused the crash. Engineers started the train and drove it on several sections of the track.

Benji Easler, 6, of Gaffney, died when the train left its tracks at Cleveland Park in Spartanburg. Benji's funeral was being held at Corinth Baptist Church, where his father, Dwight Easler, is pastor.
